I am having an absolutely wonderful birthday. I am living an amazing life. Each & every day I have the opportunity to awaken to my beautiful husband and son and utilize every bit of my God given creativity. I denied and ran from this part of me for a very long time. Now, I realize that it is what fuels me. It is who God made me to be & I am embracing every part of it.
I realize that my sense of adventure involves my creative freedom and ability to reinvent myself continuously. That's a blessing and a gift.
I also found it fitting that in my The Confident Woman Devotional, today's words describe this as well. Here's an excerpt. "I think it may be good to occasionally (or perhaps frequently) do something that seems outrageous to people and perhaps even to you. Do something that people won't expect. It will keep your life interesting and keep other people from thinking they have you tucked away nicely in a little box of their own design........
We are not created by God to merely do the same thing over and over until it has no meaning left at all. God is creative. If you don't think so, just look around you. All the animals, bugs, plants, birds, trees, and other living things are totally amazing. The sun, moon, stars, plants, space, and gravity- all of which God has created- can boggle our minds."
This is so me & I will continue to keep my life interesting! I am so thankful for another day and another year! Keep the party going!
